AWS Network Engineer

About The Role

As an Intermediate AWS Network Engineer, you will support 24×7 network operations, monitoring, and automation tasks, ensuring infrastructure stability and rapid incident response.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Monitoring

• Monitor CloudWatch alerts (EC2 health, VPC anomalies), triage issues, and escalate complex cases.
• Maintain Transit Gateway routing tables, audit cross-region connections, and generate health reports.
• Track third party dedicated line performance (latency/packet loss) and submit trend analyses.

Automation & Tooling

• Script Python/Bash utilities for log archiving (VPC Flow Logs to S3) and resource tagging.
• Use AWS SSM to automate patching, backups, and security group audits.

Security & Compliance

• Analyse VPC Flow Logs to block suspicious IPs (e.g., port scanning) and update NACL rules.
