About the Role
Join a dynamic team in Edmonton, AB as a PLC Programmer reporting to the Automation Manager. Drive automation and control systems with your programming expertise in PLCs, HMI, and SCADA.
As a PLC Programmer, you will be tasked with programming automation systems, managing onsite testing and start-up, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your role involves client meetings to assess automation needs, as well as providing technical support remotely. You will also develop machine programs, troubleshoot errors, and ensure efficient and safe automated system operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute PLC/HMI/SCADA programming both on-site and remotely
• Oversee testing and commissioning of automation systems
• Consult with clients regarding automation requirements
• Provide technical support via phone and remote access
• Draw schematics for process demonstration
