As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies to support Carrier’s industrial automation initiatives.

In this role, you will collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams across plants and business units to develop, implement, and standardize automation solutions—directly impacting manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As an Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Implementing robotic systems and automated cells in assembly and coil shop areas.

• Evaluating, selecting, and standardizing automation technologies such as vision systems, screwdriving, welding, brazing, and material handling solutions.

• Developing proof of concept (PoC) initiatives and leading their implementation across business units.
