Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Siemens PLC Engineer to support a long-term pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Lisbon. This is a mid–senior level position, ideal for an automation professional with strong Siemens control systems expertise and experience working within GMP-regulated environments.
You will play a key role in the design, programming, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation of automation systems supporting drug substance and/or drug product manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, program, and maintain Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal, S7-300/400, S7-1500)
- Support automation for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and process systems
- Lead and execute commissioning, FAT, SAT, and site startup activities
