About the Role

We are presently recruiting for an Accountant for our clients Audit team in County Kerry. You will work on client financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to legal requirements. You will plan and conduct audits, prepare working papers, identify risks, report findings, and advise on improvements to clients. This is a full – time position with a hybrid working week offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in accordance with auditing standards.

  • Perform substantive testing, analytical review, and risk assessment procedures.

  • Prepare clear and accurate working papers and audit reports.

  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
