Job Overview
TEKsystems is seeking reliable, professional AV Installation Technicians to support large‑scale audiovisual installations across multiple Boston‑area college campuses. Technicians will assist with hands‑on room builds and AV hardware installations while working under on‑site project management and field leadership.
This role is ideal for technicians who take pride in clean, well‑organized work , demonstrate professionalism on customer sites, and are eager to learn within structured AV deployments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform AV installations in classroom, lecture hall, and campus environments
+ Pull, dress, label, and terminate low‑voltage cabling (CAT6, control cable, speaker wire, etc.)
+ Mount and install displays, speakers, cameras, racks, and related AV hardware
+ Support room builds and light decommissioning (demo) work
