Audio Software System Engineer

In-vehicle audio systems are critically important to the customer’s experience in our vehicles as Ford transitions from a manufacturer of vehicles to a producer of vehicles for the delivery of digital experiences and brand enhancing services. This position will play a key role in that transition and in developing and delivering class leading in-vehicle customer experiences and services.
This role will contribute to the end-to-end software integration and delivery of the audio subsystem within Ford's infotainment system. Integration involves both hardware and software developed internally to Ford and by vendors for multiple Electronic Control Units (ECUs). The engineer will work in concert with audio subject matter experts across multidisciplinary development teams in support of features such as media playback, AM/FM/HD/DAB and SiriusXM audio tuners, chimes & alerts, voice recognition, handsfree telephony, Active Noise Control, propulsion sound enhancement and pedestrian sounders....
