Are you a passionate and empathetic leader committed to improving student outcomes? New Plymouth Boys' High School is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Pastoral Care team as an Attendance and Engagement Mentor (AEM).

This vital position is focused on working directly with chronically absent students and their whanau to foster improved attendance, engagement, and success. You will be instrumental in building strong, restorative relationships and ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.

Permanent, part-time position. 31 weeks in term time only.

Key Responsibilities

• Working directly with chronically absent students and providing one‑on‑one mentoring
• Conducting home visits and regular check‑ins with whanau
