About the role

A respected commercial practice with a strong employment law capability seeks an employment lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level. The role involves advising employers and employees on contractual and termination matters, restraints, redundancies and leading employment disputes including unfair dismissal and litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial employment advice and draft employment/contractor agreements
• Manage termination, redundancy and restraint matters; conduct employment litigation
• Represent clients at mediations, tribunals and courts; prepare pleadings and affidavits
• Negotiate settlements and advise on risk mitigation strategies
• Supervise junior employment team members
