About the Role
The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine, Ophthalmology Service invites qualified individuals to apply for an open faculty position in the Clinician Educator (CE) track in Small Animal Ophthalmology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applications are currently being accepted, and the start date is negotiable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the excellence of Penn Vet’s ophthalmology programs in medicine, surgery, education, research, and service. The candidate will be responsible for didactic, laboratory and clinical teaching of veterinary medical students, participation in patient care, and supervision of residents. A key requirement of the Clinician Educator track is development of a scholarly research program that advances the field of ophthalmology through the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge.
