About the Role

Job Summary

Support the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing daily purchasing operations, managing the purchasing team, and ensuring efficient procurement, supplier coordination, and inventory control in line with company policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Direct and Indirect Buyers
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and management guidelines
  • Handle end-to-end purchasing activities for raw materials and indirect items
  • Coordinate with internal teams, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries (JIT)
  • Manage inventory levels, safety stock, and prevent over-stocking
  • Liaise with planning and sales teams to understand material demand
  • Request quotations, negotiate pricing/MOQ, and manage supplier relationships
  • Maintain supplier lists, source new suppliers, and support tender activities
  • Handle import shipments and related documentation
