About the Role

Responsibilities and Certifications 
To assist the Purchasing Manager to provide a service that exceeds the expectations of our internal and external customers.
Perform activities of Purchasing in relation to OFP
Assist in spot buys of prime materials and back up to Purchasing Manager as required.
Prioritize orders and coordinate with Sales orders of importance.
Develop and maintain relationships with current and new suppliers.
Negotiate prices if applicable or report and maintain prices with OFP suppliers. 
Communicate any critical supplier information to senior management.
Modify P. O’s for cost details, specifications etc.
Handle order changes at all OFP suppliers
Expediate orders when necessary
Maintain open order status.
Provide information to the administration group as necessary i.e., Corrections to inventory, pricing logistics etc.
