About the Role
MP Lundy Construction, a 50+ year old construction management company in Ottawa, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Construction, and working closely with our Project Managers, the APM's responsibilities will include:
- Preparation, distribution, and control of project documentation
- Review specifications for submittal requirements
- Obtain the proper bonding and insurance as required by projects
- Manage all finance-related paperwork associated with a project
- Prepare monthly billings to clients
- Review and approval of shop drawing
- Coordination of SI/CCN/CD between trades
- Keep drawing markups current
- Attending project meetings as required
- Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals
- Assist the Estimating department in the closing of tenders
