Job Description
- New Product Development:
- Project time plan development & execution inline of APQP procedures.
- Works closely with the appropriate project managers in maintaining project Gantt charts.
- Provides required inputs for preparing engineering budgets.
- Ensures that phase reviews are coordinated, documented and executed per project Gantt chart milestones
- Cost saving innovative ideas & solutions provider.
- Must have exposure of PPAP procedures & can lead independent projects for PPAP approvals & production handover
- Should perform Kaizens in parallel to regular projects development tasks.
- NPD inventory Management.
- Product/Process Management:
- Maintains design control through proper use of parts lists revisions and design revisions.
- Actively benchmarks competitive products.
