About the Role
An Accounting Assistant is responsible for; • Maintains financial records: They perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, & verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records such as costing, accounts payable, payroll, &/or travel & expenses. • Preparing financial reports: They assist in preparing financial statements, budget reports, & other financial reports for management review. • Conducting financial analysis: They may perform basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, & potential areas of improvement. Accounting Assistant III scope & ownership; • Demonstrating a solid technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the role. • Identifies problems & proactively finding solutions. • Able to guide and influence other team members.
