Position Summary
:This position reports to the Manager of Property Valuation and is responsible for the review, collection and appraisal data on residential and commercial/industrial property in the County within assigned districts.
Overview:
The Office of Property Assessments (OPA) produces a fair, accurate and timely assessment roll, doing so in a uniform manner consistent with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) while emphasizing outstanding customer service and efficient use of resources. The OPA also maintains ownership and assessment records for parcels within Allegheny County regarding property owners, municipalities and school districts concerning assessment matters.
