RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Assembly Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects involved with managing the Assembly Department.
Responsible to produce a quality product on time and at cost.
Improve efficiencies and maintain continuous improvement initiatives –reduce overall assembly costs by driving Standardized Work and improving Assembly Line concepts
Improve cost of quality by reducing NCR's, Scrap, Rework and Quality Escapes (internal and external)
Develop teamwork and improve motivation overseeing both Assembly and Assembly Support Staff (Assy Planning and Stores) personnel.
Utilize and maintain daily SQCDP Team Meetings.
