Job Summary

: Assembles a variety of merchandise for display and or sale to customers using common handtools. Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles a variety of items such as bicycles strollers furniture grills lawn garden equipment etc. using common handtools following manufacturers instructions. Items are assembled both for display and for customers after purchase. - Inspects finished products prior to delivery to ensure proper working order and advises customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment. - Installs optional equipment purchased by customers. - Performs selling duties such as assisting customers in the selection of merchandise and bicycles and advises on optional equipment available for purchase. - Performs minor repairs such as clean equipment adjust brakes gears refinish minor scratches replacing worn or broken parts etc. - Maintains work area in a safe orderly manner. - May assist in backroom and stocking receiving functions as necessary. - Pe...
