Asphalt Roller Operator

Dawson Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Asphalt Roller Operator to support the paving crew.

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Construction , working in a temporary, full-time Asphalt Roller Operator , reporting to the Foreperson . This position will be part of our paving crew. Your base location will be Kamloops, B.C. and will require travel throughout our great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Operate tools and machines to spread, smooth, level, or steel-reinforce stone or asphalt on roadbeds.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment by conducting pre‑shift inspections and reporting any concerns or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
