About the Role
Full Time Contract Title: AS400 Developer Compensation: Up to $60.00 hour, commensurate with experience Location: 100% Remote Position Description: The AS400 Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and databases in the client's AS400 Environment. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to best practices in software development. Responsibilities:
+ Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform using RPG, CL, and SQL.
+ Work on application modernization projects, including API integration (REST/SOAP).
+ Design and optimize DB2 for i (AS400) databases, including indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures.
+ Develop and integrate web services (REST APIs, JSON, XML) for interoperability with modern applications.
+ Utilize IBM i Web Services to extend AS400 functionalities.
