About the Role

We are presently recruiting a 3rd Year Mechanic for our clients, a well established family business in Macroom, County Cork . The company in question has a very strong after sales record and requires a 3rd Year Apprentice Mechanic to join their well-established team. You will be tasked with assisting Assist qualified mechanics in all aspects of the trade, NCT preparation, full servicing, recalls and other duties as required. This is a full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday job.

Job Specification – 3rd Year Apprentice Mechanic

  • Assist qualified mechanics with diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of a wide range of vehicles.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.

  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under supervision.

  • Develop hands-on experience with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety practices.
