- Some general hands-on mechanical experience.
- Ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and to follow instruction.
- Ability to approach problems logically.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation both verbally and written.
- Attend both college and the workplace for the duration of the apprenticeship.
- Complete all training modules successfully and in a timely manner with the support of external auditors.
- Develop mechanical knowledge and experience in the field of CNC machining.
- Develop a full understanding of all metrology and tooling used to support production.
- Developing standard working methods for production processes including tooling, fixturing, work holding, and work instructions.
- Develop understanding of requirements for preparing CNC programs for new or updated components and establishing initial cycle times through component and machine proofing.<...
