About the Role
Job Details The Applications Engineer supports the commercial design and quoting process for In-Core Instrumentation (ICI), probes, and sensors used in nuclear reactors. These instruments are critical for monitoring and controlling reactor core conditions—neutron flux, temperature, and pressure—to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Description This role bridges the gap between engineering and commercial teams, providing technical expertise during the exploratory design phase to ensure proposed solutions align with both customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. The Applications Engineer partners closely with the commercial organization to support major nuclear utilities as well as emerging SMR (Small Modular Reactor) operators, delivering technically sound, cost‑effective solutions tailored to each reactor’s needs.
