Applications Architect

Job Summary

Responsible for providing expert advice and support to the IT Head in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems, the application technical software stack, and databases to be utilized. Understands, from an enterprise perspective, how all data, applications, hardware, and users interact. Designs and recommends software application solutions for diverse and complex business requirements, which can include packaged application customization, custom application development, and multi-systems integration.

How will you contribute?

• Ensures that new systems are built in a way that best guarantees that functional requirements are met while also making certain that service qualities (performance, scalability, extensibility, etc.) for now and for the future are achievable.
• Reviews and improves existing systems, making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement for existing systems.
