Application Modernisation Lead - Cognizant

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to evangelize an application maintenance and modernization center of excellence with one of our major banking clients. You’ll have real accountability for the end-to-end management and modernization of user-developed applications on behalf of customer business units, with a focus on ensuring that SLAs are met, and work is fulfilled on time with no disruption to the business.

Role & Responsibilities

• Coach the application modernisation COE on best code practices
• Solve complex technical problems while maintaining user developed applications (UDAs/Macros)
• Governance end-to-end delivery of automation solutions (document, design, build, test, deploy, maintain) using recommended best practices to modernise UDAs
• Experience in database schema design and building/supporting solutions using VBA, SQL, SharePoint and Power Platform
