API Platform Operations Engineer - Toronto

Senior operations role supporting enterprise‑scale API platforms and event‑driven systems across cloud and on‑prem environments. Work closely with platform engineering, DevOps, and API teams to operate, scale, and optimize critical API and microservices infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support enterprise API platforms, gateways, and microservices
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and optimize performance
• Execute CI/CD best practices and support cloud‑based API deployments
• Partner with technical and business teams on API governance and standardization

Required Experience

• 3–6 years in IT; 2+ years in application support / operations
• Java development experience (1–2 years)
• REST APIs and API design standards (OpenAPI, RAML)
