API Architect

Your Moneris Career – The Opportunity

The API Architect is responsible for the technical design and overall architecture of the Moneris API platform. In concert with site reliability engineering, owns the technical implementation of the API development life cycle and the central API support services. Collaborates with other technology teams to design, develop and implement software systems and data solutions critical to Moneris' business operations. Works with the team to define Moneris' API strategy, best practices, and standards. Performs research and development activities to advance platform technology including stakeholder interviews, proactive vendor assessments, and overall API infrastructure reviews to make determinations related to cloud partnership strategies. Ensures that the security, availability and technology strategy follows best practices and Moneris standards.

Location: Toronto office, balancing in‑office collaboration with remote flexibility.
