The Role
We are seeking an experienced, intellectually curious and student-focused AP History Teacher with AP Capstone to join a strong and well-established Humanities Department. The successful candidate will teach Advanced Placement History courses and contribute to the delivery of the AP Capstone programme, supporting students in developing advanced research, critical thinking, analysis and academic writing skills.
The role requires a teacher who can inspire a deep understanding of historical inquiry, guide students in evaluating sources and constructing evidence-based arguments, and prepare them thoroughly for AP assessments and university-level study. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high academic expectations, a commitment to inquiry-based learning and the ability to support motivated students in rigorous academic pathways.
