Android Engineer

Voice input is about to change how people use computers. We're processing millions of transcriptions for developers, writers, and teams at some of the largest tech companies. 100% on-device, nothing sent to the cloud.

Superwhisper is Mac-only today. We want to bring it to Android. You'd be building it from scratch, with full ownership over architecture and design decisions.

The job

• Build Superwhisper for Android from the ground up
• Run ML models on-device with the same speed and quality we have on Mac
• Figure out the UX for system-wide voice input on Android
• Work directly with our team on product decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years building Android apps. Kotlin, not just Java.
• You've shipped something to the Play Store that people actually use
• Experience with on-device ML, or eager to learn
• You care about performance and polish
