About the Role
Education
Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry. Pathology residency programs and dermatopathology residency programs.
Work Setting
Hospital (staff position). Willing to relocate. Urban area. Relocation costs covered by the employer.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders.
- May conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods.
- Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens.
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation.
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases.
- Supervise laboratory activities.
- Act as consultants to other physicians.
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
