Overview

Analyst - Credit and Collections at EECOL Electric. This role follows a hybrid work structure with weekly in-person reporting to a designated EECOL branch location in Saskatoon, SK; Edmonton, AB; Regina, SK; or Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor past-due invoices and make a high-volume of collections contacts via phone, e-mail, or customer portals.
  • Work with the customer to determine the root cause of disputes for unpaid or short-paid invoices. Identify and document the detailed reason.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations, including research of unapplied cash, and credits and unearned discounts.
  • Evaluate the collectability of unearned cash discounts, finance charges, small-dollar invoices, etc., and perform write-offs of uncollectable amounts within their level of authority.
