Allocation Lead

Job Description

• Oversee over-all daily truck dispatch planning/allocation from sorting centers to regional centers/Direct hubs vice versa.
• Ensure optimal truck utilization by planning efficient routes, backloads, and trip assignments.
• Monitor fleet availability, performance, and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure high delivery compliance and minimize turnaround time.
• Address delays, breakdowns, and trucker performance issues swiftly.
• Coordinate with the Supply team for Truck supply and issues for smooth operations.
• Track daily operational KPIs: on-time dispatch, on-time transit compliance, cost efficiency, and truck attendance.
• Lead and guide the Middle Mile Coordinators/Allocators.
• Ensure all team members understand operational priorities and execution plans.
• Optimize usage of low-cost or controlled trucks to reduce transportation cost. (Wet lease and Dry lease)
