Assist Mechanic Is, IIs, and IIIs with performing organizational level maintenance while solving unusual maintenance problems by troubleshooting, testing, and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, fuel, rotor, drive systems, and auxiliary components.
Essential Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform scheduled, unscheduled, phase, calendar, conditional, and special inspections as required. Inspect, remove, replace MV-22 components such as engines, APU’s, prop-rotor, tilt axis, and mid-wing gearboxes, hubs, landing gear, actuators, and all other components related to safe and effective mission operability.
The Mechanic I position requires the ability to quickly learn the NALCOMIS reporting system to report and document any discrepancies and repairs while performing maintenance and inspections.
