About the Role
To control and coordinate the movement of the NFTI Air traffic ensuring smooth, safe and efficient flying training.Coordinate with CNS/ ARFF/ ELECTRICALS/ and other agencies for ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of flying operation.Provide traffic information to all traffic in air and ground and ensure adequate separation/ Prevent collision between aircraftand also to maintain the log of all flights operating at Gondia airport. Monitorserviceabilitystatusofvarioussub-systemsandintheeventofmalfunctioning /degradation / failure of any sub-system reports the same to respective departments as necessary for rectification action on priority.Coordination between NFTI Traffic and other adjacent Air Traffic Control unit.Report any incident / accident to the ARFF and respective departments.Take actions in accordance with contingency plans to deal with aircraft emergency/accident asappropriate.Carrying out periodic R/W inspection.<...
