AI Engineer (RAG & LLM Systems)

About the Role

Wissen Technology is hiring an AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in RAG systems, LLM APIs, and AI agents . This role focuses on building production-ready AI applications , including retrieval systems and intelligent automation workflows. The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring 3 days/week onsite in Montreal, QC. Candidates should have 5-10+ years of experience, with a focus on applied AI/ML engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence.
• Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank or another esteemed client.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Skills

• RAG / Retrieval Systems: Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines. Familiarity with NotebookLM, RAG tooling, and Python libraries (NotebookLM or similar).
