AI DevOps Engineer

Grant Thornton is building an AI Factory to create smart, reliable AI agents that drive real business results. As an Automation Engineer, you will be the bridge that turns AI thinking into actual work. Working inside a collaborative AI Pod, you’ll design the workflows, integrations, and guardrails that let AI agents safely update systems, route cases, and trigger approvals.

What you’ll do:

• Build Smart Workflows: Design reliable, step-by-step automated processes (from intake to completion) with solid backup plans for when errors happen.
• Connect Systems: Create APIs and connectors to link AI tools with major enterprise software, giving agents safe ways to update records and create tasks.
• Add Safety Guardrails: Set up human-in-the-loop checkpoints for high-risk decisions, build clear escalation paths, and keep detailed logs for compliance.
