Advisor - Injury Management

Job Responsibilities

Join the Macmahon Underground team as an Injury Management Advisor based in our head office near Perth Airport. 

About the role

• Adhoc travel to sites may be required.
• Monday to Friday full time permanent role with possible weekend contact with injured personnel.
• Be the initial contact person for injured personnel coming from site to provide them support.
• Attend initial & ongoing medical appointments with injured personnel, with the view to returning them to work as soon as practicable.
• Ongoing liaison with healthcare providers to ensure an accurate understanding of the workers’ medical management plan and facilitate ‘return to work’ opportunities.
• Submit Workers Compensation and income protection claims to the insurer.
• Maintain the injury management database (Solv Injury) relevant to underground personnel.
