About the Role

Job Description
The Actuarial Analyst for CGAAP Valuation and LICAT is responsible for supporting Canadian reporting processes, including IFRS 17 modelling and capital reporting under LICAT.
Responsibilities
CGAAP Valuation: 
IFRS17 liability modelling, including new product set-up and assumption changes.
Perform all the control checks on results from IFRS17 models.
Prepare reports for the non-model related IFRS17 liabilities such as Group and IBNR.
Perform User-Acceptance Testing in the valuation extract for new product.
LICAT 
Provide support on the Life Capital Adequacy Testing (LICAT) submission.
Ad-hoc projects depending on business needs such as but not limited to:
Assist in the completion of the semi-annual business plan projections.
Perform liability AXIS runs as instructed by the Actuarial Manager
