ACQUISITION ANALYST

Summary About the Position: This Acquisition Analyst position is located at Aberdeen Test Center, S-8 RM Directorate with duty location of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. (merit) The incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the target level of NH-03, upon meeting the following requirements: (a) satisfactory demonstration of ability to perform the work at the higher level; (b) recommendation for promotion by supervisor; and (c) all applicable OPM qualifications. Responsibilities Develops procurement documents (PWS, IGCE, QASP, J and A, D and F, source selection plans) Advises on acquisition strategies and compliance with statutes, regulations, and DoD/Army policy. Tracks contract spend, burn rate, funding levels, and contractor labor rates. Reviews contracts and deliverables for compliance with FAR and PWS requirements.
