Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, the Accounts Payable Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing and strengthening The GC’s accounts payable systems in both Canada and the U.S. This is a key position ensuring accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and a high level of customer service to ministry partners.

Specifically, in this role you’d be responsible for:

Accounts Payable Leadership

• Overseeing and approving U.S. and Canadian payables daily for accuracy and compliance.
• Managing vendor onboarding and ensuring strong data integrity.
• Monitoring bank balances, AP aging, journal entries, and month-/year-end cut-offs.
• Preparing and filing U.S. 1099s and Canadian T4As on time.
• Ensuring consistent application of account codes across teams.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.
