About the role

Join the Public Transport Authority’s Accounting Services team and play a key role in delivering an efficient, accurate and customer‑focused Accounts Payable function. In this position, you’ll be responsible for reviewing, processing and reconciling high volumes of invoices in line with legislation, policies and procedures, including the Financial Management Act, Treasurer’s Instructions and GST requirements. You will manage electronic workflows, ensure timely approval and payment of supplier accounts, process both manual and system‑generated transactions, and maintain the integrity of Accounts Payable interfaces. With a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance and stakeholder communication, this role supports the smooth operation of payment processes and contributes to the organisation’s financial governance.
