Accounting Specialist

Position Summary

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s general accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. The role involves managing bank reconciliations, BIR reporting, inventory monitoring, and fixed asset management, while coordinating closely with various departments to maintain effective financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BIR reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT), and Compensation Tax.
• Secure local permits and licenses, and ensure ongoing compliance with POS permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare bank reconciliation reports and ensure alignment of book balances and bank balances.
