About the Role
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for checking the accuracy of sales records, maintaining accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) records, and ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Monitoring & Tallying:
- Check and verify daily sales reports and tally sales with system records.
- Identify and report discrepancies in sales figures.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams for any sales-related clarifications.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Monitor and update customer accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare aging reports and assist in collection efforts.
