About the Role
The Accounting Assistant will provide essential support to the senior accounting team by handling day-to-day financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a desire to grow within a finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording and categorizing daily financial transactions in accounting software
- Support the reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records
- Help prepare and issue invoices, process vendor payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll processing and timesheet tracking, if applicable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries under the guidance of the senior accountant
