About the Role
Responsibilities
- Manage and report capital spending; support project approvals and ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee capital assets, including request validation, depreciation tracking, and IFRS compliance.
- Maintain production and financial data (SAP, HFM) and complete month‑end reconciliations.
- Prepare external and industry reporting (e.g., Statistics Canada, CFI).
- Support budgeting, variance analysis, and special projects, including natural gas cost forecasting and reconciliation.
Education, Experience & Skills
- CPA designation (or working toward) with a strong foundation in finance and production accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.
- Self‑motivated with strong business judgment and decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrated focus on operational excellence.
