Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage and report capital spending; support project approvals and ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee capital assets, including request validation, depreciation tracking, and IFRS compliance.
• Maintain production and financial data (SAP, HFM) and complete month‑end reconciliations.
• Prepare external and industry reporting (e.g., Statistics Canada, CFI).
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and special projects, including natural gas cost forecasting and reconciliation.

Education, Experience & Skills

• CPA designation (or working toward) with a strong foundation in finance and production accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.
• Self‑motivated with strong business judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated focus on operational excellence.
