Accountant

About the Role

The Accountant is responsible for month‑end activities, which include preparing account reconciliations and journal entries, and assisting in the delivery of accurate and timely management reports and analysis. The Accountant will also support internal control compliance and other accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

What You’ll Do

• Exercise discretion and integrity always, supporting all financial policies and procedures, and complying with all financial, legal, and other requirements and controls;
• Perform accounting duties in a timely manner, including but not limited to invoicing and “soft” collections, GST/PST filing, basic ledger accounting, basic variance analysis, general support;
• Reconcile general, credit card, and bank accounts by gathering and balancing information;
