About the Role

 
  Summary 
 The client is the largest and most profitable business unit in the Group with revenues runrate revenues at S$100m and growing across three segments: Consumer Fixed, Non-Residential Fixed and Mobility. The Accountant should support the Accounting and Finance Manager and Senior Accountant in the monthly closing operations and ensure internal compliance for GL reporting requirements. 
 
  Responsibilities 
 Month end Closing: ensure that all monthly required accounting entries are passed into the accounting system.
 Assist Accounting and Finance Manager in performing GL reconciliations for Balance Sheet Accounts on a timely basic
 Provide support to Finance Manager in areas of statutory compliance and internal/external reporting
 Support the Senior Accountant on completing the quarterly GST returns
 Implement improvements to the month end procedures and internal controls
