Accountant (agriculture)

Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the accountant will support all farm financial operations while also providing reporting to the head office for multi- country operations. They will manage, reconcile, and report on financial data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely insights to support both operational and strategic decision- making.
The position can be based on site in Limpop or remotely withi South Africa with occassional travel to Limpop.

Financial Reporting & Management Accounts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare management accounts and reporting packs with variance analysis.
Maintain general ledgers and report to stakeholders. General Ledger & Month-End Close Maintain ledger, post journals, and perform month-end/year-end close.
Reconcile balance sheets, raise accruals, and adjustments.
