Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for achieving the targeted level of sales volume and revenue. The position also builds relationships with clients to encourage expansion, repeat or replication of and new business opportunities by maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures that customer accounts are dealt within a timely and efficient manner, addressing any problems that may arise.
- Develops accounts, building up regular business and encouraging any new business leads.
- Develops and maintains effective business relationships and/or close working practices within relevant departments of account customers within a designated area especially operations, business development and sales departments to secure optimum sales volume of profitable contracts.
