Title: Senior Engineer/Engineer - Sales

Business Unit: Branson

Location: Chennai, TN.

Overall Summary:
This role is responsible for sales of Branson Business Unit within Emerson, covering local area of Chennai and its surrounding area, remote industrial clusters of TN, AP/Telangana including the belt of Nellore to Ongole & Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales initiatives to meet sales targets, submitting monthly forecast 
  • Identify new business opportunities, new applications, new clients/account (OEM, Tier-/ suppliers, end customers ie. Manufacturer)
  • Analyze and identify market competition and develop short/long term strategies
  • Persuading customers that a product/service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Negotiate tender/contract terms and conditions to meet client and company’s needs
